In 1875, two watchmakers, Jules Louis Audemars, twenty-two years, and Edward Auguste Piguet, twenty-four years, founded Audemars Piguet in Brassus: a workshop in the family home, a trademark and a partnership agreement was signed for decade.

In 2010, the factory has nearly one thousand employees in Switzerland and around the world. The company which has a unique culture, is nourished by tradition, daring and excellence. It is also the product of an original alchemy that combines, from generation to generation, respect for nature, knowledge and love of perfection.

This book illustrates the passion of Haute Horlogerie, followed by Audemars Piguet for the last hundred thirty-five years. The book is illustrated by many historical pieces of exception all well documented.
